PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by arranging a correction coil means and connecting to an auxiliary coil wound in the passage of vertically deflected field produced through a vertical deflection coil then regulating the current in the correction coil. CONSTITUTION:A pair of horizontal deflection coils 22, 23 and vertical deflection coils 24, 25 are provided while auxiliary coils 38, 39 to be coupled magnetically with said coils 24, 25 are provided on the core 26. Furthermore, a pair of correction coil means 27, 28 are provided to produce a deflecting yoke device to be employed in cathode-ray tube. Then correction coils 32, 33 are connected between the intermediate point of the auxiliary coils 38, 39 and the intermediate point of variable resistors 46, 47 connected from the other ends of the coils 38, 39 through rectifier diodes 41, 42 to regulate the current. Consequently, power consumption is reduced to correct/improve misconvergence irrespectively of the static characteristic of vertical deflection coil. |
