PURPOSE:To condense steam and cool it to a predetermined temperature stably even upon fluctuation of load by a method wherein the optimum internal pressure of condenser, set value of temperature and set value of flow amount of refrigerant are operated to control the flow amount of refrigerant and the same of condensed liquid at the outlet of the condenser. CONSTITUTION:The optimum setting values of the pressure in a condenser, the temperature of condensed liquid and the flow amount of refrigerant are operated previously by the characteristic function of the condenser in accordance with respective conditions of the flow amount of steam, the enthalpy of steam and the temperature of refrigerant. The pressure detecting signal of a pressure detector 54 at a steam header 51 is utilized as the opening degree operating signal of a PID regulator 55 to make the pressure of the header constant and regulate the flow amount of the steam, thereafter, the steam is introduced into the header 4 of condensing section. In order to condense the steam at the pressure in the setter of the group 5 of heat transfer tubes, an outlet port valve 16 is operated so that the fan angle of an air-cooling fan 17a for regulating the amount of cooling air becomes a set value. According to this method, the heat transfer area A1 of condensing section and the heat transfer area A2 of cooling section are determined and the condensed liquid is cooled to a specified temperature before discharging it. The steam may be condensed stably upon fluctuation of load and may be cooled to a predetermined temperature. |
