PURPOSE:To prevent interruption in torque from occuring due to disengagement of a clutch during passing a car, by inhibiting the change-over of a speed change gear in a predetermined time when kick-down operation is taken. CONSTITUTION:In a normal running condition, a microprocessor 9 receives outputs from a rotational speed detecting sensor 4 in an engine 1 and a speed change gear position sensor 7, and controls the drive of a clutch operating device 5 and a speed change operating device 6 to carry out a predetermined clutch shift operation. Further, a kick-down mechanism turn on a switch 11 when an accelerator pedal 10 is depressed exceeding its stroke, and the microprocessor 9 shifts down an automatic speed change gear 3. Upon passing a car even if the switch 11 is turned on due to kick-down, the microprocess 9 controls the automatic speed change gear 3 to shift down the latter after a predetermined shift inhibiting time has elapsed. |
