The invention relates to a device for sealed fastening of glass panes or other flat elements in a frame made of metal or plastic profiles, a holding strip in the form of a hollow profile being detachably engaged on the frame profile, which strip holds the flat element, with interposition of a sealing profile, in contact against an abutment of the profile, the holding strip having at least two catching hooks, which point away from the flat element, for engagement in two catches facing in the opposite direction of the frame, and a sealing profile being arranged in the region of the catch fastening between holding strip and frame, and a further sealing body being arranged at the ends of the holding strip between the latter and its contact surface.
