PURPOSE:To reduce speed change shock by making a value of oil pressure supplied to a frictional element in non-kick-down different from one in kick- down to provide an optimum frictional element capacity. CONSTITUTION:Oil pressure Pm subjected to pressure reduction in non-kick-down acts on a survo apply chamber and line pressure PL acts in kick-down. Thus, the capacity of a band brake 13 is set to provide an optimum capacity for oil pressure PL in kick-down and further the oil pressure Pm can be adjusted to optimize the capacity of the band brake 13 also in non-kick-down. Thus, both in the kick-down and non-kick-down the optimum band brake capacity can be provided to reduce speed change shock. |
