PURPOSE:To extremely facilitate insertion and securing of a blow-off grill, by a method wherein, in a mounting structure for blow-off grill of an air conditioner for vehicle, an elastic seal member is mounted to a blow-off opening in a ventilating duct. CONSTITUTION:A seal member 20 engages a blow-off opening part 5 of a defroster duct 1 in a manner to cover the duct, and side edges 21 and 22 are adhered to the upper surface of the defroster duct 1. The seal member 20 is of a laminar material, such as synthetic resin materials, having elasticity, and a slit 23 is provided in a longitudinal direction of a rising edge 5a of a blow-off opening 5 to form two lip parts 24, 24 positioned facing and opposite to each other. When a mating part 10 of a blow-off nozzle 5 is inserted into the blow-off opening 5, the lip parts 24 are bent downward by the mating part 10, the elasticity normally brings the lip parts into contact with the mating part 10, and this enables closing of a gap 12 between the mating part 10 and the opening 5. |
