The precision switch is a contactless proximity switch, with an oscillator part and interpreting electronics on the one hand, and an attenuation part on the other hand, the distinguishing feature of which is the arrangement of at least two field-generating elements, e.g. LC oscillators, in such a way that the coils (L1, L2), which are spatially closely bonded and form the inductive resistor, are essentially in parallel orientation, the outgoing sides of the electromagnetic field face in the same direction, and said switch is an attenuation part with several oscillators which can be brought into interaction. <IMAGE>
