The invention relates to a fuzing sensor for fast missiles and projectiles for detection of a hit and discrimination against impacting small-calibre defence projectiles, unambiguous initiation of the fuzing being brought about, even in the case of light target structures, by evaluating the plasma formation which occurs on impact and the electromagnetic effects associated therewith. Exemplary embodiments are specified and explained in the description.
