On the periphery of the essentially horizontal baseplate of a centrifugal attraction, which baseplate can be driven to rotate about a central axis, rails are secured which are aligned radially outwards and upwards and on which passenger carriers roll obliquely upwards from their lower position of rest when the baseplate, in operation, has reached a certain angular velocity. In their upper region, the rails are curved towards the central axis of the baseplate, so that the upward movement is braked. Furthermore, the baseplate is tiltable, as a result of which the inclination of the rails relative to the force of gravity changes constantly during a rotation of the baseplate and the passenger carriers travel upwards and downwards accordingly.
