PURPOSE:To reduce a select shock by means of a clutch pressure regulating valve to regulate pressure fed to a clutch, and a solenoid valve to change the regulating action of the clutch pressure regulating valve according to given signal. CONSTITUTION:A clutch pressure regulating valve 116 ordinarily regulates a fixed oil pressure corresponding to the force of a spring 208 through well- known pressure regulating action, but when oil pressure acts from an oil path 189 onto a port 204a, the regulated oil pressure is reduced by the above acting oil pressure. A solenoid valve 118 has a solenoid 224, which is controlled on duty ratio by a speed change controlling unit 300, and discharges oil in an oil path 190 inversely proportional to its passing electric current. In an idling state, regulated pressure produced by the solenoid valve 118 acts on the regulating valve 116 through a switching valve 108 for regulated pressure to slightly couple the clutch, and a select shock can be therefore reduced. |
