PURPOSE:To make it possible to sound record and video record really necessary content in perfect state simply without making troublesome afterprocessing such as making edition after completion of all sound recording and video recording by so constituting that a recorder makes delayed sound recording and video recording, and when commanded to stop, stops recording after a specified time. CONSTITUTION:The first delay circuit 4 has function to delay sound signals from an amplifier 2 for a fixed time base on a delay time setting signal from a delay time setting circuit 5. An output signal line of the delay time setting circuit 5 extends to the first and second delay circuits 410. A switch 7 is made to allow switching to ground either of a terminal 71 or a terminal 72. The terminal 71 is connected to the set terminal of a flip-flop circuit 9 through a NOT circuit 8 and the terminal 72 is connected to the input terminal of the second delay circuit 10. The second delay circuit 10 delays a signal generated when the terminal 72 is grounded by changing of the switch 7 based on a delay time setting signal from the delay time setting circuit 5.
