Process for producing an immersion spout

In a process for producing an immersion spout, a mixture of materials is used which contains boron nitride for improving the wear resistance. In order to increase also the cold bending strength in addition to the wear resistance, the first mixture of materials is initially granulated by means of a binder. In addition, a second mixture of materials, which predominantly contains zirconium oxide to increase the cold bending strength, is also granulated by means of a binder. The two granulates are then mixed with one another, pressed into the form of the immersion spout and heat-treated.
