A method of geophysical surveying polymictic ore bodies provides for recording registration of the electromagnetic radiation generated by the ore bodies under the influence of elastic waves excited in the rock massif in the form of pulse bursts each of them corresponding to one ore body. The pulse corresponding to the ore body to be explored is compared, as far as its form is concerned, with the pulses corresponding to ore bodies of a known mineral composition and an analogous pulse is selected therefrom, then a pulse taken from the burst corresponding to the explored ore body is subjected to Fourier transformation in order to obtain the pulse amplitude-frequency spectrum which is compared with the amplitude-frequency spectrum of the selected pulse. In case of coincidence of at least two frequencies of the amplitude maxima the known and explored ore bodies are considered to be of the similar mineral composition.
|
