In a connection of a rotor blade to a rotor hub via a fork-shaped rotor arm (2) by means of a blade angle bearing (3) which is arranged in a recess in the blade root (1) between its two fork limbs (2.1), can be subjected to pressure in the longitudinal direction of the blade and is connected to the fork limbs (2.1) and the blade root (1) by at least one bolt (4) crossing the plane of rotation of the rotor, the blade-root end (1.1) is supported on the base (6) of the rotor hub in the blade-stroke and blade-swivelling direction via a bearing journal (7) coaxial with the blade-angle axis, the blade root (1) being free to move over a limited blade swivelling angle relative to the blade angle bearing (3) and the bearing journal (7) being free to move over a limited blade swivelling angle relative to the rotor-hub base (6) and the supporting bearing surfaces (3.1.1 and 6.1) of the blade angle bearing (3) and of the rotor-hub base (6), which surfaces support the blade root (1) in the direction of the centrifugal force on the blade and the bearing journal (7) in the blade-stroke direction or support a bearing (8) assigned to the said journal, having a motion-damping effect with the corresponding bearing surfaces of the blade root (1) and of the bearing (8) of the bearing journal (7) to give damping of blade swivelling in the event of a deflection of the latter.
