PURPOSE:To facilitate operation or ascertainment of the system data setting by allotting the number of the dial button and the digit position of the digital indicator in association with each item of the system data. CONSTITUTION:System data setting is effected by operating a keyboard KB37 of a specified ST4 from among key telephone sets ST41-ST4m connected to a main device KSU1. The status of system data is indicated as letters and numerals in the digital indicator DGP41 of an indicating circuit DP36. The DGP41 is so allotted that the tenth to first digits correspond to item numbers '1' to '0' of the system data and to the numbers of the dial button. The times in the specified state is the non-indicated state. In this manner, the data setting state can be easily judged while the setting operation is more reliable.
