PURPOSE:To check interference by hardware in an earlier time by outputting a signal for showing the presence of the interference when the 1st and 2nd color coincidence detecting circuits detect the interference. CONSTITUTION:When a code 1 for showing a tool-like profile is stored only in an area corresponding to the picture element of a graphic memory 15R accessed by the skin address of a CRT controller 23, outputs of parallel/series converters 25a-25c come to '1', '0' and '0', respectively, whereby outputs of exclusive OR circuits 29a-29c come to '0'. Then the output of an NOR circuit 29d comes to '1', and the detection that the picture element of a color set in a register 27 has been readout is made. In the same manner, all outputs of exclusive OR circuits 30a-30c come to '1' when the outputs of the converters 25a-25c come to '0', '0' and '0', respectively, and the output of an NOR circuit 30d comes to '1'. When the tool shape and a chuck shape are not overlapped, an FF31b is not set. When they are overlapped, the outputs of the circuits 29d and 30d come to '1' to set the FF31b, and an interference detecting signal is generated.
