<p>PURPOSE:To separate completely a noise component or a movement component by using a double-frame difference signal at a part where chrominance signals are multiplied with a high space frequency. CONSTITUTION:The 1st subtractor 8 calculates a single frame difference signal S1 from the video signal of an NTSC system and the output of a frame delay line 10 and supplies the signal S1 to the 1st space LPF11. While the 2nd subtractor 13 calculates a double-frame difference signals S2 from an input video signal and the output of a frame delay line 14 and supplies the signal S2 to the 2nd space HPF15. An adder 12 adds the outputs of both filters 11 and 15 to each other and supplies them to a noise/movement detecting circuit 29. The circuit 29 uses a double-frame difference signal S2H for a part where the chrominance signals are multiplexed with a high space frequency and then a single-frame different signal S1L at a part which is important for the picture information with no chrominance signal multiplexed and a low space frequency for security of response characteristics. Thus the circuit 29 separates the noise or movement component.</p> |
