PURPOSE:To reduce the sliding torque by providing a concave part on at least either of sliding faces of a seat ring and a follower ring so that it is surrounded by an outer peripheral part and a rear peripheral part and is opened only on the inner peripheral side of the sliding surface. CONSTITUTION:On the sliding face 20 of a follower ring 10 contacting with a seat ring 9, a concave part 21 is formed so that the outer peripheral part 24 is closed and the inner peripheral part is opened on the inner peripheral face 22 of the sliding face 20. The concave part 21 is surrounded by an outer peripheral part 25 and a rear peripheral part 26, and the outer peripheral part 25 is sloped rearward from the inner peripheral face 22 to the direction of relative rotation between the seat ring 9 and the follower ring 10, and further the rear peripheral part 26 is extending from the outer end part 24 of the outer peripheral part 25 toward nearly in the direction of the shaft center O of a turning shaft 1. The contacting parts between the outer end part 24 of the outer peripheral part 25 and the rear peripheral part 26 and between the rear peripheral part 26 and the inner peripheral face 22 are connected by a smooth curved surface. |
