PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by detecting the load torque and the rotation or the frequency of an induction motor and operating the actual lift of pump system then selecting the voltage/frequency pattern for achieving the maximum efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal pump 3 is driven through an induction motor 2 to be controlled by an inverter 1 to detect the primary current of motor 2 thus to output the torque. A speed detection tacho-generator 6 will produce a speed signal (n) of the motor 2. The actual lift (h) of pump is operated on the basis of the torque and the speed signal to set a V/F pattern corresponding with (ha). Consequently, V/F pattern for high efficiency operation can be achieved.
