With a sliding gate with an interchangeable nozzle, its supporting-ring frame carrying the lower gate plate should be provided with a repeatable connection position for the formation of an optimum sealing joint between the interchangeable nozzle and the said gate plate. For this purpose the sliding frame of the gate plate has a stop surface which determines the axial connection position of the supporting ring. <IMAGE>
