PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing an acrylic polymer containing chlorinated polyolefin modified with a hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene derivative, and giving a coating film having excellent water-resistance, gloss, adhesivity, and solvent resistance. CONSTITUTION:95-50pts.(wt.) of monomer mixture composed of (A) 10-100(wt)% hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene derivative of formula (R is H or lower alkyl; R' is bivalent organic group; n is 0 or 1), (B) 0-90% alkyl (meth)acrylate and (C) 0-50% other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the components A and B (the sum of the components A, B and C is 100%) is polymerized in the presence of 5-50pts. of a chlorinated polyolefin resin having a chlorine-content of <=50%, and the obtained chlorinated polyolefin-containing acrylic polymer is used as a component of the objective composition.
