PURPOSE:To obtain a composite constitution type oil filter having a simple structure, easy to assemble and reduced in labor for maintenance, by integrating a sheet like dust removing screen and an intermediate plate provided with apertures as oil paths. CONSTITUTION:The title oil filter A is constituted of one laminated body as a whole by holding a dust removing screen 30 between two upper and lower gaskets 31, and adhering and uniting all of them. Apertures as oil paths are provided to desired places of the filter A by punching and the dust removing screen 30 is provided to the oil path aperture 2 requiring dust removal among oil paths under tension. Thus formed filter is attached to a hydraulic communication system splittable into two blocks in an up-and-down direction or a before- and-behind direction, for example, the valve block assembled in the automatic transmission of an automobile so as to be held between the split surfaces of both blocks thereof to make it possible to easily perform the assembling of the filter.
