PURPOSE:To improve remarkable work efficiency by bringing metallic samples into close contact with conductors by means of an upper conductor in an apparatus for simultaneously electropolishing many metallic samples and by supplying electric current to the samples through the conductors. CONSTITUTION:Metallic samples 4 are piled up in a box-shaped sample setting plate 1 and brought into contact with lower, right and left conductors 5. The upper conductor 6 of a clamp 3 is brought into contact with the upper samples 4, and clamp screws 2 are driven to set all the samples 4. The resulting sample set is suspended from an electrically conductive hanger 7 and put in an electrolytic soln. 8 from the top of an electrolytic cell. When electric current is supplied between the sample set as the anode and an electrode in the cell as the cathode, electricity passes through the samples 4 through the conductors 5, so all the samples 4 are uniformly electro-polished.
