PURPOSE:To protect exactly a magnetic head by providing a disk cassette which has been attached so as to be freely slidable along the leading edge by energizing a shutter for covering a recessed part formed on its leading edge and a part of a magnetic disk, in the closing direction, on a flat hard case for containing the magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:When a disk cassette 1 is inserted into a cassette holder 31, a discharge lever 34 is pushed by a leading edge 4 of a hard case 2 and turned, and in its process, a shutter 7 is opened by an opening part 38. When the shutter 7 is opened, an abutting part 47 escapes to a recessed part 5 of the hard case 2, therefore, the hard case 2 is inserted to a prescribed depth, the hard case 2 presses a receiving part 43, and a detecting lever 22 is turned to a disk detecting position around a supporting point 21. An engaging projecting part 42 is detached from an engaging edge 40, and a cassette guide 27 slides to the side opposite to the inserting direction of the disk cassette. When discharging the disk cassette 1, the cassette guide 27 is pushed in, and by interlocking with this operation, the cassette holder 31 is floated from a disk driving shaft 11,and an arm 19 is raised. |
