LEVEL CONTROL METHOD OF CLEANING BED

PURPOSE:To attain the automatic level control of a cleaning bed by estimating the level of the bed after a prescribed period of time from the actual level and estimated inflow and outflow quantities of the cleaning bed and performing the ON/OFF control of a raw water pump according to an ON/OFF table. CONSTITUTION:A real water level L is detected by a level detector 3, and the inflow and outflow quantities fin and fout are detected by flow rate detectors 11 and 12 respectively. The estimated flowout quantity Qin can be easily obtained by calculating the integral amount equivalent to the time Td from the trend data on the original quantity fin. The estimated flowout quantity Qout discharged to a distributing reservoir 5 within the time Td is obtained by estimating the control state of the inflow quantity after the delay time Td from the present inflow quantity to a cleaning bed and the flowout quantity from the bed 2 and the hitherto inflow quantity. The parallel operation is applied from an ON/OFF table to operate simultaneously plural raw water pumps. Furthermore the power consumption of those pumps is reduced by using the optimum number of pumps.
