<p>Herbicidally active 5-amino-1-phenylpyrazoles of the formula <IMAGE> in which R is CN, or an ester or amido group, R1 is an organic radical, R2 is an organic radical, hydrogen or an acyl or thioacyl radical, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 can be hydrogen or various organic radicals but at least one is a haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio, haloalkylsulphinyl or haloalkylsulphonyl radical, but R is not CN at the same time as R5 is CF3. The compounds <IMAGE> are intermediates therefor and are also herbicidal.</p> |
