PURPOSE:To measure a pressure easily in a short time by providing an elongation sensor, a temperature detector, and a pressure arithmetic unit. CONSTITUTION:A pressure piping 100 to be measured is surrounded with arms 11 and 11a of an elongation detector 1. Adjust bolts 12 and 12a are turned to bring attachments 13 and 13a into contact with the piping, and the piping is clamped by them, and the diameter of the piping in the initial clamping state is measured by an elongation sensor 15 before the rise of pressure in the piping 100, and the temperature of the piping 100 is measured by a temperature detector 2. When the pressure in the piping is raised, the diameter of the piping is increased, and arms 11 and 11a are spread outward with a fulcrum 10 as the center through attachemnts 13 and 13a and bolts 12 and 12a, and elongation of the diameter of the piping is obtained by the signal from the elongation sensor 15 stretched between both ends 14 and 14a of arms 11 and 11a. The variation of temperature is obtained by the signal outputted from the tempeature detector 2, and elongation of the diameter of the piping based on this variation of temperature is operated with the arithmetic unit. Thereafter, elongation of the diameter of the piping due to the variation of pressure is obtained, and the pressure in the piping is calculated and is displayed. |
