PURPOSE:To measure exactly the components of the dissolved gas in oil by providing an air reservoir for zero point adjustment between a gas extracting chamber and a gas detecting chamber. CONSTITUTION:An air reservoir 10 consisting of a spiral piping is provided between the gas extracting chamber 2 and the gas detecting chamber 3. One end of the air reservoir 10 is connected to an air intake piping 8 and connecting piping 7b and the other end is connected to the chamber 2. The volume of the air reservoir is made to correspond to the quantity of the air required for the zero point adjustment of a detecting element 13. When the air is first fed into the chamber 2 and the reservoir 10, the gaseous mixture composed of the air and the dissolved gas in the oil stagnates eventually in the upper space of the chamber 2. When the gaseous mixture composed of the air and the dissolved gas in the oil is then fed to the chamber 3 by the operation of a pump 11, the air stagnating in the reservoir 10 is first fed into said chamber and thereafter the gaseous mixture is fed therein and therefore the zero point adjustment of the element 13 and the component measurement of the dissolved gas in the oil are continuously executed. Since the gaseous mixture is fed by the same pump and the same piping, the exact measurement is made possible with the decreased fluctuation in the flow rate. |
