PURPOSE:To obtain a melted material leakage preventing jig for a casting rotor applied to a rotor of different diameter by connecting many blocking members by a binding string in series, and individually closing half-closed slots by the members. CONSTITUTION:Half-closed slots 3 having holes 2 are formed on the inner periphery on the outer periphery of a core block 1, gathered to form a rotor. Blocking member 4 is formed of ceramic fiber in a felt shape, a binding string 7 is passed through the holes 6 to be connected in series. A coupler 8 is formed of a hook piece 9, a lock member 10 and a ring member. Thus, the projections 5 of the members 4 are engaged with the holes 2 of the slots 3 by aluminum casting, bound by the string 7 to completely block the holes 2. This core block 1 is set between upper and lower dies, melted aluminum is poured from the inlet of the lower die to cast, thereby forming a cast rotor. |
