摘要 PURPOSE:To perform the optimum control of a process and at the same time to reduce the load of an optimum controller, by detecting the process characteristic value based on the identifying signal to apply this characteristic value to a model control system for simulation and obtaining an optimum parameter. CONSTITUTION:A controlled system 13 serving as a control furnace is connected to the output terminal of a PlD control part 11 via a changeover switch 12. This switch 12 usually connects the part 11 and the controlled system 13 and disconnects them from each other when an identifying signal is transmitted. Then a step input generating part 14 serving as the identifying signal is connected to controlled system 13. The gain of the step input is supplied from the controlled system 13 to obtain the process waste time L, a time constant T and the process gain (k). Thus this gain is set at the satisfactory small value. A parameter deciding part 15 contains a process characteristic value detecting part 16 where T, L and K are obtained, a simulator part 17 and a parameter calculating part 18.
