PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic container which is superior in strength, contaiment protective properties and appearance, by a method wherein the direction of a depth of a containing part of a container body is established so that it coincides with the direction of the face of a mold and monolithic forming of the container body is performed by a hinge by dividing the container body in the direction of its depth. CONSTITUTION:The titled container is inflated into shapes of cavities 12ab, 13ab through blowing so that the direction of a depth of a containing part 7 of a main body 2 coincides with the direction X of the face of a mold and halves 2a, 2b of the main body in hollow and double-walled structure and a lid material 3 are formed. In this instance, as a blow ratio becomes low in the direction Y wherein a parison 17 is inflated through blowing unequalization in thickness can be prevented.
