PURPOSE:To correct a hand writing input information in a similar method to a correcting method of a handwriting copy by using a part of a handwriting information input surface in an erasing command information inputting input area. CONSTITUTION:An erasing data detector 2 judges an input or not to an erasing designating area or a symbol or not for erasing from an input coordinate of an end of a pen inputted from an input tablet 1, an up-down information of the end of the pen and the like. When recognizing a designating signal for erasing a character, the erasing designated character is erased from a memory section 8. When recognizing a designation of an erasing range, after recognizing an input of a completion symbol of the erasing range, a data of the memory section 8 corresponding to the range is erased. An erasing designated character on an image plane is erased.
