DETECTOR FOR MISINSERTION OF UNIT

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of circuit parts due to misinsertion of a unit by forming a closed circuit only when plural units are set correctly at prescribed areas on a backboard and supplying the power supply voltage to each unit from an insertion signal detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A backboard wiring 11 connected to a unit insertion signal detecting part 21 is set obliquely among units 31-36. While connection terminals 311-361 of those units are provided at different positions in the lengthwise direction so as to respond to the wiring 11. Then a closed circuit is formed at a unit insertion signal detecting part 21 connected to the wiring 11 only in case said units are set correctly at the prescribed areas respectively. A relay contact 22 is closed in response to the formation of said closed circuit. Then the power supply voltage of a prescribed level is supplied to each power supply terminal of units 31-36 via a DC/DC converter 23.
