PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of performance diagnosis by finely measuring the detection signal output range of an origin detecting sensor on the basis of a sampling pulse. CONSTITUTION:A counter 14 counts a sampling pulse signal of the prescribed short period from the phase excitation switching period of a stepping motor from a pulse generator 9 during the prescribed exciting phase corresponding to the rotating origin from the rise of the detection signal from an origin detecting sensor 10. A counter 18 couts the sampling pulse signal during the fall of the detection signal from the sensor 10 after becoming the prescribed exciting phase. They are calculated by calculators 16, 20, and whether the detection signal output range of the sensor is suitable or not is output from an AND gate 21. |
