PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency and to reduce the size by accumulating spark energy in a capacitor, and transmitting it through the winding of a transformer to the output side of the transformer when a switching element is turned ON. CONSTITUTION:A switching power source connects a switching element 1 with the input winding N1 of a converting transformer T1, switches a DC voltage Ein by the switching operation, and output a DC voltage through an output rectifying and smoothing circuit 2 from the output winding N2. In this case, one end of a capacitor C2 is connected with the connecting point of the winding N1 and the element 1, and diodes D2, D3 are connected forwardly to flyback voltage between the other end side, one end of the reset winding N3, and the winding N1. Thus, when the switching element 1 is turned OFF, the spike voltage generated in the input winding N1 is absorbed and suppressed by a capacitor C2, the charge is discharged at next ON time to be transmitted to the output side of the transformer T1. |
