PURPOSE:To improve the performance of an ethylene cracking furnace by providing an operating variable monitor means and a severity factor monitor means of the ethylene cracking furnace and producing the start signal with the trigger or manual trigger operations of said monitor means. CONSTITUTION:The process data A of an ethylene cracking furnace main body 1 is fetched to an operating variable fetching unit 5 of an optimization start signal generating part 3 and then compared with the optimum arithmetic value B of an optimization arithmetic unit 2. When the deviation of said comparison exceeds the allowable value C, a trigger D is sent to an optimization start unit 7. While the gas composition data E given from a gas analysis meter 8 set at the exit of the cracking furnace 1 is supplied to an analysis data fetching unit 9 and undergoes an operation together with the operating variable, etc. through a calculation unit 10 for severity factor (omega). Then a (omega) factor comparison unit 11 produces a trigger K when the deviation of the factor (omega) exceeds the allowable value J. The trigger K is applied to the unit 7 together with a manual trigger L. |
