PURPOSE:To form a field programmable logic array undergoing on-line programming externally without using a fuse by providing a semiconductor switching element respectively to each crossing between plural input lines and plural output lines. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor switching element 14 is provided to each crossing between the plural input lines and the plural output lines. A logical content setting section has a shift register 20 having, e.g., 32-bit equal to number of crossings and a bit output terminal is connected to a base of a semiconductor switch log element 14... at each crossing via a resistor 15. A program content PRO deciding the logical content of the logical circuit is stored in the shift register 20 while being shifted sequentially by a clock CLK.
