PURPOSE:To automatically register a new word by pushing a registering key when a titled obtained in KANJI (Chinese character) correction is desired to register as a new word. CONSTITUTION:In ordinary KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI conversion, every objective word of the word incapable of converting are obtained by retrieving a phonetic reading and Japanese rendering of Chinese character dictionary or a Chinese character radical dictionary in every word. The obtained result can be instantaneously registered, thereafter, when it is desired that a point automatically converted by the ordinary KANJI-KANA conversion is employed and a titled obtained in KANJI correction is registered as a new word, pushing a registering key, a new word registration is automatically carried out. By performing the new word registration interlocking with the KANJI correction, without intermitting an editing operation, a minimum key touch can be performed.
