A gas-tight and liquid-tight terminal bushing is described. The sealing effect is achieved by means of a toroidal sealing ring (O-ring) 5 which is pressed into the annular space formed by a necking 3 of the cell housing and the lead-through terminal bolt 10. The necking 3 is supported by a washer 6 made of insulating material, with an annular elevation surrounding the necking positively on the outside, the washer at the same time ensuring that the terminal bolt 10 is centred. On the other side of the cell wall, there is, again, a washer made of insulating material, which for further centering is provided with a sleeve-shaped projection which penetrates into the annular space formed by the necking and the bolt and which is supported on the bolt and on the necking. <IMAGE> |
