PURPOSE:To make carrying-in-and-out cycles settable in an independent manner, by feeding a bearing pocket a little nearer to the outlet side progressively with pipe bars on a fixed cradle with motion of a fork loader and storing the specified number of pipe bars thereat, while delivering them onto a chain conveyor at the next stage in a lump. CONSTITUTION:The work W delivered to an outlet conveyor after being processed at an upside device A is carried in a bearing pocket 201 at the innermost side of a fixed cradle 2 by a carrying-in device. Next, this carried-in work W is uplifted by a movable fork 40 of a fork loader, making it slide as far as a portion for one pitch P ahead, then returned to the top of the fixed cradle, and fed to an adjacent bearing pocket 202. This operation is continued till a process by the upside device A is over, and all works subjected to the lot are aligned on the cradle 2 in order of being processed. Then, the whole lot of works on the cradle 2 are transferred onto a bearing pocket 30 a little nearer to the inlet side of a chain conveyor 3 with the fork loader, making this conveyor perform its intermittent motion, and these works are carried in a downside device as adjusted to cycle time of this downside device. |
