PURPOSE:To provide thermal recording paper imparting high density at the time of color development and reduced in the lowering in developed color density even after long-term preservation, by containing dialkylsulfosuccinate in an intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:In thermal recording paper wherein an intermediate layer containing inorg. or org. pigment is interposed between a paper support and a thermal color forming layer, dialkylsulfsuccinate is contained in said intermediate layer. As dialkylsulfosuccinate to be used, a sodium or potassium salt is pref. and an especially pref. one is represented by formula (wherein X is a sodium atom or a potassium atom and n is an integer of 3-11) and one, wherein n is an integer of 6-10) is especially pref. The addition amount of the above mentioned dialkylsulfosuccinate is 0.1-10pts., pref., 0.3-3.0pts. on the basis 100pts. of pigment. |
