PURPOSE:To provide the titled device adequate particularly for use to remove a vertical flash by mounting a blade to a movable body which is freely slidable along the side face of a holding member, constituting said holding member in such a manner that the member can turn freely around the axis intersecting orthogonally with the above- mentioned sliding direction and removing the flash by the composite motion of said blade. CONSTITUTION:An upper plate 3 and a mounting plate 4 are integrally lowered under the guide of tie bars 31 by the operation of a cylinder 30 fixed to an upper base plate 29. Pressing parts 31a of the tie bars 31 are pressed atop the product (a) set on a product rest 37 to press immovably the product as the plate 4 descends. A horizontal flash (f), overfloat flash (g) and hole flash (h) are removed by a deflashing bar 32, a vertical cutting blade 33, etc. according to the descending of the plate 4. A horizontal cylinder 14 of a deflashing device 2 is then operated to advance a deflashing blade 16 via the movable body 13 and an attaching means 17 so as to enter the inside of the peak (c) in the side part of the product (a) and the valley (e) on the (d) side. A horizontal cylinder 19 is operated to turn a vertical attaching shaft 11 to oscillate the blade 16 together with the holding member 8, by which the vertical flash (b) is cut away.
