PURPOSE:To increase recording speed by writing command data to convert and write dot pattern data when dot pattern data are put out. CONSTITUTION:A head controller 112 is controlled by input of 8 bit printing data and recording control command through an input data line D0-D7. Printing data are put out to a head driver 113 through a controller 1 which contrarotates top and bottom of bits within respective bytes, and through latches 8-11 of four blocks and output control circuits 12-15. Contrarotation and non- contrarotation of the controller 1 are controlled by the output of the register 3 which latches 8 bit commands received, and the register 3 is provided with its proper address, and control commands are written in it by light signals that are put out from a status controller 2 or the microprocessor 110. Timing of the latches 8-11 and strobe timing of output control circuit 12-15 are controlled by the controllers 2 and 4. By the above, it becomes feasible to convert and process the dot patterns received and to output the same within an extremely short period of time. |
