Environmentally friendly, rational filling of airborne spreader with fertilizer, lime or material typically used in forestry or agriculture during a temporary landing is achieved by the spreader (3) being completely closed and parked in a moveable filling station (2), in which the material to be spread with the help of air under pressure is transferred from the pressure tank (4) of a bulk cargo vehicle (1) to the closed spreader (3) via a line (5, 10) that is connected to the spreader and has a tight seal. Air ventilated out of the spreader (3) is led away from the filling station (2) via another tightly sealed line (8) and is released at a safe distance from such. Spillage becomes insignificant and the previous need for storing the material to be spread in nature is completely eliminated.<IMAGE> |
