<p>PURPOSE:To simply and accurately control current by providing an electric power generator that outputs power generating voltage depending on the number of engine rotations independently of an electric power generator for a charge system and using this electric power generator as the power supply source of an electric motor that assists steering torque. CONSTITUTION:A handle applied to a steering handle 11, torgue sensor 15 that senses the direction, and a photo interruptor 30 are provided on a handle shaft 10 and an electric motor 16 that assists handle torque is connected through a gear 17. On the other hand, a second electric power generator 23 connected as the power supply source of the electric motor 16 is connected to an engine 20 independently of a first electric power generator 21. Besides, the excitation current If of the second electric power generator 23 is controlled by an excitation current control unit 24 and torque signals coming from a torque sensor 15 and the steering speed signals and car speed signals coming from sensing units 40 and 50 are input to this control unit 24.</p> |
