PURPOSE:To obtain pressure contact force and to also reduce power consumption, by simple constitution such that a thermal head is contacted with a platen roller under pressure by the force from a rotary solenoid and the force from transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 14 is directly connected to the rotary shaft 13' of a rotary solenoid 13. Because a thermal head support plate 11 is constituted so as to push up the other end of said support plate by a first cam 15 revolved by a solenoid 13, the pressure contact force of the thermal head 10 to the platen roller 12 becomes larger. The upward force by the tension of transfer paper 21 acts on a transfer paper release roller 18 and functions as torque around the rotary center C of a plate shaped member 17 to act on a second cam 16. Because the direction of the force acting on the pin 16' provided to the leading end of the second cam 16 is set so as not only to be present on the circle having the line, which connects the center of the pin 16' and the rotary center C of the plate shaped body 17, as a radius and a center common to said rotary center C but also to be set to the side above the center of the rotary shaft 13', said force acts on the rotary shaft 14 counterclockwise and the force to the platen roller of the thermal head 10 is increased still more. |
