PURPOSE:To obtain extremely excellent printing resistance in the lithography requiring no dampening water and to substantially prevent omission of dots, etc., in the printing by using a toner made of a compsn. contg. a vinyl copolymer having OH groups and at least one compd. selected from metal complexes having 2 or more valences and their salts. CONSTITUTION:The vinyl copolymer having OH groups is exemplified by (meth) acrylate having OH groups and copolymers of vinyl esters capable of producing OH groups by hydrolysis, such as vinyl acetate or vinyl propionate, with other unsatd. monomers. Not only one kind of (meth)acrylates but 2 or more kinds of them can be used in combination. The hydroxyl value of the vinyl copolymer having OH groups is usually 10-200, preferably, 20-100, and it is essential to use the metal complex or its salt in order to impart sufficient adhesiveness to the vinyl copolymers. |
