<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of cool air immediately after ignition by a method wherein a cool air blow-off port is provided above a hot-air blow-off port and a damper, opened when a necessary time has elapsed after starting operation, is provided in either the cold-air blow-off port or the path of cold air. CONSTITUTION:When the heater is ignited and the combustion thereof is started, the temperatures of a combustion tube 5, the intermediate plate 12 of a duct and a lower plate 6 are risen and the temperature of hot-air, blow-off from the hot-air blow-off port 13b of a front plate, is risen. When the temperature of the hot-air becomes higher than a given temperature, a thermistor 19 detects it, the damper 14 directly connected to a stepped motor 15 is turned, the cold-air blow-off port 13a is opened and a part of air from a fan 10 is blown off into a room through a cold air path 13 consisting of the intermediate plate 12 of duct and an upper plate 9 of the same. When the switch of the heater is put OFF, the stepped motor 15 is turned reversely to the initial position thereof and the damper 14 is closed.</p> |
