PURPOSE:To select freely a title correlator as a series type and a parallel type by only changing a connecting method of a data, by constituting it as a distributed type containing plural unit digital correlators. CONSTITUTION:Unit digital correlators 510-517 of 8 bits have independent input/output terminals D0-D7, R0-R7, and M0-M7 of a data, a reference, and a mask. A pipeline type digital adder 800 adds up an output of a correlation value of the unit digital correlators 510-517 and outputs a data of parallel 7 bits of a two's complement display. A pipiline type digital subtracter 900 executes a substration of a total value data from the pipeline type digital adder 800, and a data to be subtracted, from a subtract data register 521, and outputs data 7 bits of a two's complement display, and a parallel 8 bit data of code 1 bit.
