PURPOSE:To detect the switching of a permanent current switch (PCS) surely by detecting variation of the alternating current flowing in the PCS by overlapping the a.c. on the main d.c. CONSTITUTION:The a.c. is overlapped on the main d.c. The power source 3 is composed of a d.c. source 31, an a.c. source 32 provided for overlapping a.c. on the d.c., a reactor 33 for restraining an a.c., and detecting circuit 34 for detecting an a.c. flowing in the PCS 2. Accordingly the a.c. flows also in the PCS and the magnitude of that current is different between the case of superconductive state when a resistance value is zero and that of normally conductive state when the resistance value becomes several-several score of ohsm. Because such change can be detected easily, the switching into a permanent current can be detected surely by detecting that change. |
